Action Plans
The state of Texas is required to publish an Action Plan that describes the proposed use of the $3.1 billion in Community Development Block Grants disaster recovery funding.
The Action Plan identifies the proposed activities for long-term recovery and restoration of infrastructure, housing and economic revitalization in areas affected by the hurricanes of 2008. As the state receives additional funding, reallocates funds, or changes activities, amendments to the Action Plan are submitted for HUD approval. The Action Plan and amendments divide the funding between impacted Council Of Governments regions.
