Today Texas Land Commissioner George P. Bush announced the second amendment to the Texas General Land Office's (GLO) $57.8 million action plan for Hurricane Harvey has been posted for public comment. The amendment allows for new construction, in addition to rehabilitation and reconstruction, of multifamily affordable rental housing in Aransas, Nueces and Refugio counties. Today Land Office Commissioner George P. Bush reflected on 'A Year of Recovery' since Hurricane Harvey hit Texas, causing damage and devastation across more than 40,000 miles of Texas. Today, Texas Land Commissioner George P. Bush hosted a historic inaugural training for local officials from counties affected by Hurricane Harvey.
