For the second year in a row, the Adopt-A-Beach program will ask Central Texas high school students to express their creativity in creating a 30 second PSA to help us make a difference for cleaner shores in Texas. Entries should be based on the theme: Trash Travels….trash in your hometown not properly disposed of can make its way to the Texas coast. Entries will be judged on the effectiveness of the message, creativity, educational aspects and uniqueness.
The 2013 contest will begin in January with entries being due on Tuesday, April 2nd. Information will be available on our website in January. If you live in the Capital Council of Governments region (Bastrop, Blanco, Burnet, Caldwell, Fayette, Hays, Llano, Lee, Travis and Williamson counties) and would like to receive contest information, please email us your contact information.
Stay tuned for more details!
