KILLEEN — Today, Texas Veterans Land Board Chairman George P. Bush announced that on Tuesday, September 3rd, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. SHARP, the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen will conduct an Unaccompanied Veteran burial for A1C Ronald Padget Benoto. Born on November 26, 1936, Mr. Benoto served in the United States Air Force from December 2, 1953 to October 3, 1957. He received the National Defense Service Medal and Good Conduct Medal. 

Mr. Benoto is not expected to have anyone attend his burial. Please help us spread the word and ensure that our United States Air Force Veteran is not buried alone. Members of the Killeen community are encouraged to attend. 

A1C Benoto will receive military honors. If no next-of-kin is present at the burial, the On-Site Representative of the Veterans Land Board will accept the United States flag on Benoto's behalf.

The Texas Veterans Land Board works with the local community and fellow Veterans service organizations to ensure that NO Veteran is EVER left behind.
