KILLEEN — Today, Texas Veterans Land Board Chairman George P. Bush announced that on Tuesday, July 30th, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. SHARP, the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen will conduct an Unaccompanied Veteran burial for Mr. Melvin Harry Klingbeil. Born in January of 1937, Mr. Klingbeil served in the United States Army from January 13, 1958 to July 10, 1958. 

Mr. Klingbeil is not expected to have anyone attend his burial. Please help us spread the word and ensure that our United States Army Veteran is not buried alone. Members of the Central Texas community are encouraged to attend. 

Klingbeil will receive full military honors. If no next-of-kin is present at the burial, the On-Site Representative of the Veterans Land Board will accept the United States flag on Klingbeil's behalf.

The Texas Veterans Land Board works with the local community and fellow Veterans service organizations to ensure that NO Veteran is EVER left behind.
