FLORESVILLE — The Frank M. Tejeda Texas State Veterans Home is hosting a Prisoner of War/Missing in Action (POW/MIA) Day ceremony on Friday, September 20 to honor those who were held as prisoners of war and those who are still missing in action. 

This event is open to the public.

Chaplain Tony Deosdale will lead the guests in prayer followed by Matt Flores, Kindred Hospice Executive Director, who will deliver the keynote address. Joyce Dalton, President of the Military Order of the Purple Heart Auxiliary, will be presenting the Missing Man Table with all service branches represented. All visitors will be given a yellow ribbon to wear prior to the ceremony commencing.  The event is open to the public and members of the community are encouraged to attend.
