The public and organizations may make donations to a State Veterans Cemetery. This would include cash donations, donations of monuments, gifts of property, and gifts of estates and trusts.
Approved organizations may donate monuments, which often recognize or commemorate the valor and service of a veteran group. All monument designs must be submitted to and approved by the Deputy Commissioner for Veterans Homes and Cemeteries.
Individuals and families often memorialize their loved ones with the donation of a bench.
