VLB Training
VLB Outreach Marketing staff is available to make presentations across Texas to groups of veterans, mortgage lenders, real estate and other professionals to promote participation in Texas Veterans Land Board programs.
Training for Realtors
The VLB Outreach Marketing Staff provides training to Real Estate Professionals on our Land and Home Loan programs. VLB training opportunities are approved by the Texas Real Estate Commission (TREC) for continuing education credits. Real Estate Professionals who complete a VLB training class may register on our website and be listed on a searchable database.
If you are a licensed Texas realtor or broker, and you would like to be listed in our registry, you must complete an MCE course approved by the VLB. MCE courses currently approved are:
- MCE # 01-00-031-7741 - Texas Vet Housing and Land Loan Programs
- MCE # 03-00-062-9927 - VLB/VA Boot Camp
- MCE # 04-00-031-7713 - United Texas - Housing Initiatives That Work
- MCE # 09-00-083-22942 - Heroes Welcome Home
Upon completion of an approved course, you should have an understanding of program benefits and opportunities available to Texas veterans for home or land ownership through VLB loan programs. You will also have completed instruction in the VLB loan application process. Instructions on how to register will be provided at each training course.
Realtors/brokers who are listed on the registry have the ability and responsibility to update their own records to provide to Texas veterans the most current information regarding their firms. Login

Training for VLB participating lenders, their associates, and other interested members of the lending community is scheduled throughout the state at different times.
