Aviation Electrician 1st Class - Navy
WWII
Eugene Nink, a native of Houston, served in the Navy during WWII as an Aviation Electrician 1st Class aboard the aircraft carrier USS Intrepid in the Pacific. He saw extensive action during the war, to include dealing with Japanese kamikaze planes.
