Bahia Grande Restoration Project, Phase III
Summary
The objectives of Phase III are to conduct post-construction monitoring of the main channel, control vehicle and pedestrian traffic for public safety and to protect sensitive habitat. Analysis and evaluation of project performance will be conducted using the data collected during the monitoring of the channel. Recommendations for maintenance and project modifications will be made to ensure the longevity of the project. The construction of a parking lot and fencing will control vehicular and pedestrian traffic which will provide public safety measures and mitigate damage to sensitive habitat in the area.
