Offshore Structure Registration
The Texas General Land Office serves as a clearinghouse for information on existing wells and structures located in Texas waters of the Gulf of Mexico. This includes any and all producing wells and structures, as well as non-producing structures, and those abandoned by previous operators in state leases. The Land Office maintains this information to share with other state agencies and operators.
The information is integrated into our Energy Land Lease Inventory System (ELLIS), which dynamically displays current oil/gas leasing information. ELLIS covers all state leases in all Texas bays and the Gulf of Mexico. LEARN MORE
