GLO posts amendment to Regional Housing Guidelines for Hurricane Harvey Homeowner Assistance Program for public comment period

Bush announced the Texas General Land Office (GLO) posted the first amendment to the six Regional Housing Guidelines for the Homeowner Assistance Program for a federally mandated 30-day public comment period. As the Alamo commemorates the 183rd anniversary of the Battle of the Alamo, we are excited to invite you to our sixth annual Crockett Fiddle Fest.Visitors will be treated to a full day of western swing, bluegrass and old-time country music in the beautiful Alamo Gardens. Texas General Land Office selects projects for funding under the Texas Coastal Management program

Today, Texas Land Commissioner George P. Bush announced the selection of nineteen projects for funding under the Texas Coastal Management Program (CMP) Grant Cycle 24, awarding approximately $1.74 million in federal funds to improve the management of the state's coastal resources and ensure the long-term ecological and economic productivity of the coast. Applications considered for funding include studies and projects intended to address habitat restoration, coastal erosion, mitigate the effect of coastal erosion, or maintain or enhance beach stability or width.
