Today, Texas Land Commissioner Dawn Buckingham, M.D., and the Texas Public Policy Foundation (TPPF) submitted comments regarding the Golden-Cheeked Warbler in response to a Regulatory Reform Request for Information from the U.S. Department of the Interior. These comments urge the Department of the Interior to completely delist the Warbler from the Endangered Species Act (ESA).

On Wednesday, June 25 at 11:00 a.m. sharp, the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery will conduct an Unaccompanied Veteran Burial for U.S. Army Veteran Private (PVT) Henry Alfred Weaver. Born on May 29, 1940, Pvt. Weaver served from October 1960 to October 1963. Weaver received the Marksman-Rifle badge award for his service to our country.
