Armand Bayou Nature Center will carry out The Prairie Rising project, which includes the use of prescribed fire, prescribed mowing and invasive species control via ground based herbicide application. Opportunities to learn about aspects of prairie management will be provided to volunteers during their work at Armand Bayou Nature Center.
