About The Program
Save Texas History is a statewide initiative to rally public support and private funds for the preservation and promotion of the historical maps and documents housed in the General Land Office Archives.
Donate to Save Texas History today!
Supporters who donate $30 or more will receive the limited‑edition 2026 Save Texas History t‑shirt for helping preserve the 35 million documents and 45,000 maps that helped shape our state’s history. Any donations of $150 or more will also receive a hand-signed reproduction of Commissioner Buckingham’s Alamo Defenders Heritage Map of Texas.
