On Friday, April 10, 2026 at 11:00 a.m., the Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery will conduct an Unaccompanied Veteran Burial for U.S. Army Veteran Specialist 4 (SP4) William Adrian Shepherd. Born on December 11, 1952, Mr. Shepherd served from September 1972 to September 1974. Mr. Shepherd received the National Defense Service Medal for his service in Vietnam.
