AUSTIN — The Texas General Land Office (GLO) posted Amendment 2 to the 2019 Disasters State Action Plan for $227.51 million in Community Development Block Grants Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) for a federally required 30-day public comment period.

The amendment includes the following changes:

• Affordable Rental Program: Suballocations to areas impacted by Tropical Storm Imelda and the Lower Rio Grande Valley Floods adjusted.
• 2019 Disasters Grant Agreement Specific Conditions Report created in Appendix G.

The amendment is available for review at https://recovery.texas.gov/public-notices. All comments should be submitted to cdr@recovery.texas.gov by 5:00 p.m. on May 1, 2024, to be considered. Per federal requirements, the GLO must respond to public comments before the amendment can be sent to HUD for final approval.
