Dellanera Park Beach Nourishment

Summary

Dellanera Park Beach Nourishment is located immediately west of the end of the Galveston Seawall and continues west for apporximately 2,300 feet.  This stretch of shoreline experiences an approximate 8 foot a year erosion rate . The beach nourishment project is expected to help widen the beach and provide increased storm protection for infrastructure, structures, dunes, and evacuation routes along this section of shoreline.
