AUSTIN, Texas— Today, Texas Land Commissioner and Veterans Land Board (VLB) Chairwoman Dawn Buckingham, M.D., encourages Veterans, Military Members, and their families to attend the Big Country Veterans Benefits Expo in Abilene, co-hosted by the VLB and the Texas Veterans Commission (TVC). The expo will take place on Saturday, May 16, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM. This family-friendly event is open to all Veterans, Military Members, spouses, dependents, and supporters and will include a resource fair, food, and fun.
Don't miss out on this one-of-a-kind opportunity to learn more about VLB home and land loans, Veterans-only land sales, as well as VLB's Texas State Veterans Homes and Cemeteries. Attendees can also discover TVC's resources for claims, employment, and health care.
