Cataloguing Texas Coastal Species Interactions: A Database for Coastal Managers, Scientists

Summary

Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi  will complete the entry of species interaction data into the State of Texas Gulf of Mexico Species Interaction (GoMexSI) database.  Completion of this project will allow Texas to be the first region in the Gulf Coast to have all available species interaction data entered into the GoMexSI database and access to the data.  This access will allow for better management decisions, better fisheries models, more accessible data for scientists and educators, and more information for Texas fishermen.
