Keller Bay Feasibility Study and Alternatives Analysis Project

Project Description

This project will protect the unique estuarine resources of Keller Bay by investigating shoreline protection structures resulting from the Coastal Texas Study along the Sand Point Peninsula. This project is affiliated with the Texas Coastal Resiliency Master Plan (project #9245) and provides reimbursable state cost share for the USACE’s Coastal Texas Protection and Restoration Feasibility Study (restoration measure CA-5) and related Preconstruction Engineering and Design (PED) and construction. Emergency structures will also be analyzed for quicker implementation to complement the offshore protection.
