Treasure Island MUD-San Luis Pass Revetment Project

Project Description

This project will construct a shoreline protection structure (subterraneous stone revetment) that connects the existing stone revetment terminating near the southeastern extent of Gulf Beach Drive into the CR257 bridge abutment. The revetment would be approximately 1,300 ft long and be located as landward as possible. The area would be excavated to approximately +2.0 ft NAVD88 after which approximately 3,400 cy of stone would be shaped into a rock revetment. Excavated sand as well as beneficially used dredged material from Treasure Island MUD's on-site dredge material placement area would be constructed over the revetment or directly behind it to enhance dune habitat.
