Updating Historical Shoreline Change Rates on the Texas Gulf Coast to pre-Ike Conditions

Project Description

This project updated the historical shoreline change rates for the entire Texas Gulf shoreline through the latest coast-wide photography available before Hurricane Ike made landfall. Ever-changing conditions, storm incidence, and recovery make it desirable to periodically update long-term shoreline change rates, which were last updated through 2000.
