West Galveston Island-Beach Nourishment

Project Description

Sediment budgets were developed for West Galveston Island in cooperation with the City of Galveston and homeowner associations, as a preliminary task for small-scale beach nourishment projects. The project included construction of limited beach nourishment veneers at the beaches adjacent to Bermuda Beach, Spanish Grant, Terramar, and Point San Luis subdivisions.
