Bolivar Beach Borrow Area Development Study

The Bolivar Peninsula has long benefitted by ongoing beach nourishment through beneficial use of dredged material (BUDM) on either side of Rollover Pass. Since the closure of Rollover Pass, BUDM is no longer an opportunity resulting in the need for a more extensive inventory of available sediment resources offshore and onshore. This study will investigate upland areas and potential sediment resource areas discovered in offshore Region 1 and the Outer Continental Shelf.
