Project Description
The proposed project is Phase 2 of CEPRA Project No. 1708 “Powderhorn Lake and Matagorda Bay Shoreline Conservation - Phase I” in Calhoun County and seeks to take the 30% design of the previous phase to a 100% design of shoreline protection and marsh restoration. The project site covers 5.2 miles of the southwest Matagorda Bay shoreline and over 135 acres of estuarine wetlands lying within the TPWD Powderhorn Wildlife Management Area and Powderhorn State Park.
