2025 Adopt-A-Beach Children’s Art Contest Winners!
Of the 40 overall winners, 6th grader Yolanda Xiong of Flower Mound was selected as the Grand Prize winner. Yolanda’s teacher, Longhui Zhang, will also receive a prize package. Yolanda’s detailed artwork features a jumping dolphin with a cowboy in front of an aircraft carrier. The grand prize runner up is Sofia Hernandez Guerra from Cypress.

All winning artwork will appear together in the 2026 Adopt-A-Beach calendar, which will be distributed throughout the state. This year's grand prize winner will receive one 6-8-night Caribbean cruise for two from Royal Caribbean International. The grand prize winner's teacher will also receive one 6-8-night Caribbean cruise for two courtesy of Royal Caribbean International and a gift card to an art supply store from Texas Adopt-A-Beach.
All 40 student winners will receive two tickets to Schlitterbahn, a gift card to an arts and crafts store, a gift from Adopt-A-Beach, a certificate of recognition from the Texas General Land Office and copies of the 2026 calendar displaying the winning artwork.
Students receiving an Honorable Mention designation will receive a certificate of appreciation from the Texas General Land Office and a gift from Texas Adopt-A-Beach. The Grand Prize Runner-Up will receive an additional prize from Adopt-A-Beach. All prize packages will be mailed out in late May.
