Summary:

Texas Floating Classroom (TFC) partnered with four independent school districts in Willacy County to allow over 2,700 elementary, middle, and high school students to participate in the Willacy County Youth Coastal Adventures Program.

Willow Lake Shoreline Stabilization/ Star Lake Water Control Structure at McFaddin NWR

Summary: This project constructed 3.5 miles of living shoreline rock breakwater along the northern and southern shorelines of the GIWW in the vicinity of Willow Lake and Star Lake adjacent to the McFaddin NWR and replaced a water control structure at Star Lake.
